Sole Engine

Sole Engine

Every plugin that wants to be clever ends up building the same plumbing: somewhere to keep an API key, a way to count requests, a plan for when the model is slow or the network drops. Sole Engine builds it once, underneath, so the plugins on your site don't have to.

It is a shared layer of intelligence for WordPress. You install one plugin and set it up a single time. From then on, every other Sole-aware plugin on the site can reach for language-model tasks and semantic search through the same quiet backbone — one well they all draw from, instead of each one digging its own.

What that backbone offers, through a small and plain PHP interface:

It is built for WordPress on purpose. That is where the real webmasters are — the people who tend a site day after day — and a shared engine is only worth building where plugins actually live together.

Status

In build, and honest about it. The heart of it already runs: the engine loop turns those requests into answers, and the shared plugin library is there for the plugins that will lean on it. The account dashboard, where you will set the engine up and keep an eye on it, is what we are building next. It is not yet open for signups — when it is ready to let people in, you will hear about it here.
